Put a Badge On It is an Achievement in A Hat in Time. The player can obtain it by purchasing or earning their first badge and equipping it onto Hat Kid's Hat by the menu screen.
Difficulty[]
This achievement is arguably a compulsory action for the progression of A Hat in Time, given that badges like the Hookshot provides access to the whole of Alpine Skyline's world and required for completion of several other missions in Battle of the Birds or Subcon Forest. Only if the player is placing a stipulation upon themselves would this achievement not be achieved by normal gameplay.
Strategies[]
Given there are many badges that can be purchased by the Badge Seller, some badges can be better candidates due to ready availability and cheap cost. Hence, the Item Magnet Badge is the ample target for completing this acheivement as quickly as possible, due to its 50 Pons price and immediate access for any player.
Since the first Badge Pin is already unlocked in the beginning of the game, collecting 50 Pons and locating the Badge Seller should be simple enough a task to be completed quickly, possibly even by the end of Welcome to Mafia Town.
