Cruisin' for a Bruisin' is a challenge provided by Death Wish in A Hat in Time. It takes place in an endless version of Ship Shape with much more tasks to take care of without losing all health and/or upsetting the captain.
Level[]
Main Challenge[]
Cruisin' for a Bruisin' plays identically to Ship Shape with the player performing tasks around the cruise ship, with the exception of there being no defining end by the captain, essentially being an endless mode of the level. Without no defining endpoint, the tasks will add up the more tasks are completed which increases the challenge of the level substantially as time goes on. Health Pons are limited so if the player dies, all progress is lost and the level will reset also if the player angers the captain with less than 40 tasks completed, the captain will stop the player, losing all progress made.
Players will have to juggle multiple tasks at once possibly carrying 5 items at a time and need to have a decent knowledge of the layout of the ship to complete the required amount of tasks to complete the level. Once all 40 tasks have been completed, the level will not end but if the player angers the captain, instead of having to redo the level, the Time Piece will be rewarded at the lost and found.
Bonus Challenges[]
Unlike most Deathwish challenges, the bonus challenges add to the current task, that being doing all 40 without missing one task and completing 30 additional tasks.
