Creator DLC is a unique category of downloadable content for A Hat In Time by, unlike other downloadable content, not being developed by Gears for Breakfast and instead by members of the community. The program was unveiled on November 16, 2021 in a livestream and will only be released for the Steam version of the game due to technical issues.
All Creator DLC can be accessed by the TV found in the main room of Hat Kid's Spaceship.
The first Creator DLC pack, a multiplayer mode called Vanessa’s Curse, was released on November 27, 2021.
