So… what happened to everyone in the end?
Well, this is basically a future au about what happened at the end of the game.
In this au, Hat Kid and Bow Kid decide to give Mustache Girl a time piece, but since they only collected 40 time pieces before giving one to Mustache Girl, they get stranded for a few years on a planet, so they were basically working on getting home while upgrading their stuff. While Hat Kid was looking around the planet to see if anything could help them, she found a… clock? Hat Kid decided to take it back to the ship so she could look at it, and the two find out the clock is basically the same as 5 Time pieces, but it only works for a limited amount of time. So they decided to put that in the with the rest of the fuel and go to the nearest planet they can to find more Time Pieces for a permanent solution, The Hat Planet (Aka the place the original game took place at).
