[spoilers(?)] puddle of blood? in rumbi factory

so i'm not too sure about this but... the first time i went through rumbi factory (nyakuza metro's purple time rift) i noticed a puddle of red liquid on floor 2. here's some screenshots:

update: turns out there was a pipe above it that i didn't notice while playing. i guess it looks like blood because of the light. thanks, kelrycor (steam)
